A look at our best striped window shades<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

At DotcomBlinds, we have 100\u2019s of different patterned fabrics available for use on our blinds, with designs ranging from Nautical inspired patterns<\/a>, Floral designs<\/a> and of course striped fabrics as well!<\/p>\n

Stripes as a pattern have a long and strange history, back in the late Middle Ages we see stripes beginning to be used, but they were usually a signifier of the wearer having a poor reputation and stripes were worn mainly by convicts, court jesters and musicians, as well as other people of low repute.<\/p>\n

However, despite the low-class origin of striped textiles, by the late 1400\u2019s stripes were seen as a high class fabric, thanks to it being adopted by various fashion forward Italian nobles. From there on out Stripes have been in fashion, being used on everything from sailor\u2019s uniforms, classy tailored suits and of course window blinds!<\/p>\n
