With so many slats close together, Venetian blinds are very fiddly to clean and with a normal cloth it can take ages to get your blinds clean.<\/p>\n

If like us, you don\u2019t want to spend all weekend polishing your blinds slats, you should look into buying a Venetian Blinds Brush, which is a handy tool, made out of multiple cloths on one handle, which cleans multiple slats at a time, which will speed your cleaning up. Avoid Washing Curtains By Vacuuming Them<\/h3>\n

Again, we\u2019re quite knowledgeable about Curtains here, we may be called DotcomBlinds but curtains are very much in our wheelhouse! Cleaning your curtains can be a time-consuming process and a lot of the time curtains will need to be hand cleaned, which can end up with you spending hours washing your curtains.<\/p>\n

But, unless you spill something on your curtains you can avoid cleaning them by vacuuming them every once in a while. Vacuuming your curtains will get most of the dust and dirt out of them meaning you can avoid handwashing them.\u00a0 Simply take your curtains off their hangers once every few weeks and give them a quick vacuuming with your brush attachment and you\u2019ll find they need to be washed far less often.<\/p>\n

Give Your Microwave A DIY Steam Clean<\/h3>\n

Cleaning a microwave is one of the most horrible chores out there, especially if someone forgot to put a lid on their food and you now have burnt soup covering the walls of your microwave. Microwaves are hard to clean and trying to scrape layers of spills off can be maddening.<\/p>\n

Luckily, there\u2019s a quick DIY hack to make cleaning your microwave easier and quicker! You just need to give your microwave a DIY steaming, all you need to do is fill a bowl up with hot water and put it in your microwave and turn it on for five minutes. The steam from the water being heated up will loosen up all the grime, making it a lot easier for you to wipe it off the interior of your microwave with just a damp cloth.<\/p>\n

Wash Shower Doors With A DIY Concoction<\/h3>\n

Cleaning glass shower doors is another task that is not fun at all and takes much longer than it should to clean. Also the chemicals and products most people recommend to clean your shower doors can be a struggle to keep track off and some may even burn you, if it touches your skin.<\/p>\n

So, to save time and avoid any unwanted chemical burns, you can clean your shower door with just a lemon and some salt. Just cut a lemon in half and dip one of the halves into some salt.
