Basic Lemon BiFold Door Blind
This Lemon BiFold door blind is a calming coloured window shading solution that you will just love. Subtle in colour in normal light, this blind pops and glows when sunlight shines directly on it. This is because this pleated fabric is a dimout fabric which allows in some sunlight but blocks direct, piercing beams. This causes the fabric to glow as the sun moves across the sky. What's more, this blind also has a solar reflective coating on the back which will keep nasty UV rays at bay in your room, sparing your favourite sofa from fading. This also means you can keep nice and cosy in the winter as the reflective backing also works to slow the escape of warmth to the windows.
This pleated bifold door blind is incredibly easy to install giving you that perfect fit - simply slide it behind the rubber gasket on the window pane in the door and shift it into place - hey presto!

Why do I need this Insurance?
We can’t accept returns or provide refunds for blinds that are mis-measured because all of our blinds are made to measure and so the onus is on the customer to get the measurements right for their blinds. Sometimes you might just be having an off-day, get your centimetres and inches mixed up and end up with a blind that is nigh-on useless. With our Right-Size Guarantee we will take that blind back, remake it to the correct size for you and send it back, saving you from having to buy a totally new blind!
How does it work?

Pleated Blind Technical Details
The pleated fabric is held at the top by a headrail which is fitted by sliding the tabs under the rubber gasket. The bottom bar is also attached by tabs sliding under the rubber gasket. The headrail, along with the bottom bar and the raise/lower bar comes with white painted hardware as standard but you are able to choose anthracite painted metal.• The fixing tabs are 10mm long.
• The headrail dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick
• The bottom bar dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick
• The raise/lower bar dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick and the finger tab protrudes 17mm
• From window to front of headrail the distance is 23mm
The blind has cords that are attached to bottom and to the raise/lower bar, which gathers it in and keeps tension as it is drawn. The tension of the cord can be adjusted in the bottom bar.
The width of the blind is measured outside edge of the end cap to the outside edge of the endcap on the otherside, however if you have quite thick rubber gaskets or the measurements are very close to the edge of the gasket or window frame, you may encounter some issues with the metal rivet on the outside of the headrail that controls the cord. Being on the outside of the headrail, this rivet can get pushed into the gasket and this can prevent the cords from moving freely, so please deduct 2mm from your width measurements if you feel that the rivet will be too close to the gasket. This is important to consider as we are not able to adjust your blinds after they've been made.
We allow a +/- 1-2mm tolerance on our window blind deductions when cutting.
Our standard headrail has a depth of 13mm from time to time we may resort to using a slightly deeper headrail at 16mm. We reserve the right to change this without prior notification, and therefore we can only ensure matching hardware sizes if all blinds are ordered together.
Our pleated blinds are held up by their own tension and therefore require relatively strong and rigid rubber gaskets to hold them in place. If your gaskets are quite soft and pliable (or if it’s a bit squishy), then there is a chance the pleated blind won’t be properly supported and can drop. If this is the case for your gasket or you’re not sure, get in touch with our helpful team who can discuss the options available.
