Product Description

This Pale Blue pleated conservatory blind doesn't pale in comparison in any way. Beautiful and subtle, this pale blue pleated blind takes on the tone of the sky on a warm afternoon. Refreshing and clean. What's more, it will glow as the sun moves across the sky, casting a cooling hue throughout the space - a bit like a blue lampshade around the sun. This fabric also works to protect your room and anything within from damaging UV rays by bouncing them back out with its solar reflective coating. The same coating also helps to keep the room warm when the sun goes down.

Next Day Free Samples

Free Samples?

Free samples are available on all of our fabrics and slats. Simply click the ‘order free sample’ button.

Your free sample will be added to the basket ready for you to checkout. You can carry on browsing, adding as many samples to your basket as you like. When you’re ready, checkout – delivery is free too – and relax, our samples will be on their way to you in no time.

Why order samples?

We always recommend ordering samples to ensure you fall in love with the fabric or slat. Screen resolution and brightness settings vary and you may find some fabrics look a little different in real life to how they appear on a screen. You can hold a sample in your hands, feel the fabrics, the weave and see the opacity before your very eyes, something you can’t recreate online.

We’ve made every effort to accurately portray the fabric realistically, but you can never be too careful.

Quick Turnaround

We pride ourselves on the speed with which we can get your free fabric samples to you. We send your samples with first class delivery to be with you the very next day. We often dispatch them the same day you place your order (and most certainly by the next working day if you order after hours or on the weekend). With our fast free fabric sample delivery you’ll be one step closer to shading your home with some of our fabulous blinds in no time at all!
How to Measure

How to Measure

Conservatories and bifold doors let in lots of light. This means it won’t be long before you start to feel as though you’re living in a greenhouse (or goldfish bowl). Here is a very simple and effective way to shade your windows from sunlight and curious eyes - the bracket-less way!

When you look at the window, you’ll see a rubber seal that runs all the way around the glass. This is called a gasket. Take a credit card and push the card’s corner into the gasket to check that you are able to get the blind’s tab under it. Some gaskets are stuck down and if this is the case, your window isn’t suitable for pleated conservatory blinds.

You will need to measure the visible glass: the width from the inside part of the window where the gasket ends on one side to where the gasket ends on the other – so just measure the visible glass area.

The width of the blind is measured outside edge of the end cap to the outside edge of the endcap on the otherside, however if you have quite thick rubber gaskets or the measurements are very close to the edge of the gasket, you may encounter some issues with the metal rivet on the outside of the headrail that controls the cord. Being on the outside of the headrail, this rivet can get pushed into the gasket and this can prevent the cords from moving freely, so please deduct 2mm from your width measurements if you feel that the rivet will be too close to the gasket. This is important to consider as we are not able to adjust your blinds after they've been made.

Our Conservatory blinds are held up by their own tension and therefore require relatively strong and rigid rubber gaskets to hold them in place. If your gaskets are quite soft and pliable (or if it’s a bit squishy), then there is a chance the conservatory blind won’t be properly supported and can drop. If this is the case for your gasket or you’re not sure, get in touch with our helpful team who can discuss the options available.

Now repeat the method on the length of the window, again measuring up to the rubber gasket. Take the longest measurement if there is any variation. Enter in your measurements above in the Width and Drop boxes. If you think this sounds too easy to be true then watch our video below and you'll see just how easy it is to measure and install conservatory blinds!

Child Safety

Child Safety

Ensuring our products are child safe is a priority for all of us at DotcomBlinds. As a result, our blinds are child safe by design, with built-in safety mechanisms to help reduce the risk of an accident.

Pleated blinds have no chains or cords to operate the blind and the cords used within the blind are internal, with capability for any slack to be gathered up under the blind and tucked out of sight.

If you have any questions around child safety and our blinds, please do not hesitate to get in touch, we're always happy to help.

The Geeky Stuff!

Pleated Conservatory Blind Technical Details

The pleated fabric is held at the top by a headrail which is fitted by sliding the tabs under the rubber gasket. The bottom bar is also attached by tabs sliding under the rubber gasket. The headrail, along with the bottom bar and the raise/lower bar comes with white painted hardware as standard but you are able to choose anthracite painted metal.

• The fixing tabs are 10mm long.
• The headrail dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick
• The bottom bar dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick
• The raise/lower bar dimensions are: 14mm high x 20mm thick and the finger tab protrudes 17mm
• From window to front of headrail the distance is 23mm

The blind has cords that are attached to bottom and to the raise/lower bar, which gathers it in and keeps tension as it is drawn. The tension of the cord can be adjusted in the bottom bar.

We allow a +/- 1-2mm tolerance on our window blind deductions when cutting.

Our pleated blinds are held up by their own tension and therefore require relatively strong and rigid rubber gaskets to hold them in place. If your gaskets are quite soft and pliable (or if it’s a bit squishy), then there is a chance the pleated blind won’t be properly supported and can drop. If this is the case for your gasket or you’re not sure, get in touch with our helpful team who can discuss the options available.

Hardware Colour Options

White & Anthracite Hardware Options

You can choose which colour you want the hardware and components for the blind to come in. As standard, all our Conservatory Blinds come with white painted hardware as standard, however we offer a choice of white or anthracite (RAL 7016), allowing you to pair the blind with your door. There is no additional cost for either colour, but please indicate your choice at the time of ordering above.

How to Install

How to Install

You won't believe how easy it is to install these Conservatory blinds. It’s simply a case of sliding the headrail into the top of the window with the tabs slotting under the rubber gasket, and then repeating it for the bottom bar. No screws, drilling or mess – watch the video below to see for yourself!

In fact, we’re so confident and proud of our blinds, we offer a 3 year warranty on all our blinds. This is one of the longest warranties available and a clear sign of the quality of our blinds.

✖ Misuse or Failing to maintain the blind
✖ General wear and tear and fading (these blinds are exposed to very intense UV rays)
✖ Alteration to the blind

However, if your blind stops functioning for any reasons other than those listed above, get in touch. Our warranty covers:
Manufacturing defects
