Measuring Window Blinds for Living Rooms

With the lounge being the focal point of many homes, you'll want to ensure you choose blinds that are both stylish and fit in the way you imagine them to. To do this, simply follow our measuring and installation guides, for each window and blind type. Measuring blinds for standard living room windows is very straightforward. Just measure the height and width of the window recess - do not be tempted to deduct any measurements for the blind fittings as we'll do the rest for you to ensure your blind is the perfect fit for the measurements given. For blinds which will sit outside of the recess, please measure the appropriate length and add 70mm to the top and bottom and 50mm to the sides of your measurements to account for light leakage on windows.
