Disposable Curtains

The DotcomBlinds disposable curtain range is geared to actively assist in a medical or health care setting. Meeting the needs of NHS trusts across the country, these cubicle curtains are antibacterial, flame retardant, durable, easy to install and remove and are available in a readymade standard size.

The cubicle curtains are among the most environmentally friendly of their kind, being made from 100% recyclable polypropylene and have no plastic eyelets which saves up to 100 grams of plastic waste per curtain. Instead, these hospital curtains have a hook hollow for the cubicle glider hook to pass though to hold it in place. But fear not, this change hasn’t weakened the curtain in anyway. They are typically 40% stronger than other disposable curtains on the market.

So, what are the specifics? The curtains are flame-retardant to BS5867 Part 2 Type C and are made from 110g lightweight polypropylene. They are pleated as part of the manufacturing process so you’ll find they gather perfectly every time. The fabric is manufactured with an anti-bacterial Biosafe® formula which makes it ready to play a key role in infection control in a hospital or medical environment.

There is a choice of 5 colours and they come in packs of 5 and at a set size of 7500mm x 2000mm. We also give you the option to buy these medical curtains with the hooks already attached. This means you can insert these hooks straight into your cubicle track and away you go – saving you time for more important tasks!
