If you want to increase the insulation around your windows and reduce window related heat loss, you really can’t beat a set of our made to measure cassette blinds. Our Thermal Cassette Blinds use our Bosa Blackout fabric, which is a thick and dense fabric, ideal for creating an additional layer of insulation. The cassette system also helps to improve insulation, as the cassette and side channel system fills the void between the edge of the blind fabric and the windows, it eliminates any space for cold air to leak in around the blinds fabric, creating an impenetrable wall of insulation.

How Will Thermal Cassette Blinds Help Me During Winter?

It’s simple physics really, by placing a layer of thick fabric over your windows you create a layer of insulation, which can stop cold air leaking into the interior of your home through the windows, whilst at the same time, preventing the warm air in your home from leaking out of the windows. Thermal Cassette Blinds Sizing & Headboxes

With our thermal cassette blinds, we currently offer two headbox options, our 60mm cassette (headbox size 73mmx77mm) and our 90mm cassette (headbox size 95mmx105mm). With our 60mm cassette we can make thermal cassetted roller blinds up to a width of 205cm or a maximum drop of 200cm - with our 90mm cassette option we can make blinds with a maximum width of 345cm or a maximum drop of 325cm. Currently the 60mm cassette is available for our chain operated and battery/solar powered cassette blackout blinds & our 90mm cassette is available for our chain operated, battery/solar powered and mains electric powered cassette blackout blinds. Please be aware that on some larger blinds, we may need to add a join to the fabric to get the blind to your desired size, this is when we join two pieces of fabric together to make a larger blind. With joined fabric you may see a small seem in the blind's fabric but worry not as this shall not impact the thermal efficiency of the blind. You'll be hard pressed to find a UK based manufacturer who can make thermal cassette blinds at sizes larger than we currently offer, making us the best destination for insulating the larger windows in your home.
