Made to Measure Eyelet Curtains
From understated plains to show-stopping patterns, our curtain range is designed to suit every taste. Many of our curtain fabrics also match those in our Roman Blind range, so you can coordinate rooms with confidence – or mix complementary designs for a more layered look.
Every pair of curtains comes with a one-year warranty, and for extra reassurance, you can also choose our Right Size Guarantee. If you get the measurements wrong, you can send back one pair of curtains and we’ll remake them to the correct size. We recommend reviewing the Right Size Guarantee terms and conditions before purchasing.
Why Choose an Eyelet Header?
Eyelet curtains (sometimes called ring top curtains) are one of the simplest, sleekest ways to dress a window. The eyelets sit neatly at the top of the curtain, creating soft, uniform waves as the fabric falls – a look that works brilliantly in modern and contemporary interiors.
They’re designed for curtain poles, and they’re wonderfully easy to hang: simply feed the pole through the eyelets. For a neat finish, remember to position the last eyelet between the bracket and the finial, helping hold the curtain in place when you draw them.
You can also personalise the look with your choice of eyelet finish: gold, silver, gun metal or antique brass – the little detail that makes a surprisingly big difference.
Measuring, Fitting & Installing Your Curtains
Measuring is simpler than you might think. If you already have a curtain pole, measure the width excluding the finials. If you don’t have a pole yet, measure the width of the window space and add around 30cm so you’ve got roughly 15cm extra on each side for better coverage.
For the drop, a popular finish is around 1.5cm above the floor, about 15cm below the sill, or 2–3cm above a radiator. For a step-by-step walkthrough, please consult our curtain measuring guide here.
Once your curtains arrive, hanging them is straightforward – no specialist tools, no complicated steps, just a satisfying before-and-after you’ll want to admire for a bit.
Lining Options
Your lining choice helps your curtains work harder for your space. After selecting your eyelet header, choose the lining that best suits the room and how you use it day-to-day.
–Dimout Curtain Lining
Dimout lining reduces glare and softens incoming light without fully darkening the room. It’s ideal for living rooms, dining spaces, and anywhere you want a calm, comfortable level of daylight.
–Blackout Curtain Lining
Blackout lining blocks light from passing through the fabric – a brilliant option for bedrooms, nurseries, and light-sensitive sleepers. (A little light can still appear around the edges of curtains, which is completely normal.)
Find Matching Roman Blinds
If you’d like a coordinated finish, explore our Roman Blinds made in many of the same fabrics as our curtains. It’s a simple way to create a cohesive look across a room, especially where you want a curtain on one window and a blind on another.
