How to Install EasyTwist No Drill Roller Blinds
No drills. No screws. No stress. Your EasyTwist blind is designed for a smooth, secure fit using one clever locking mechanism — and just a little technique.
What’s in the box?
- Your EasyTwist Chain Operated Roller Blind (with brackets pre-fitted)
- A self-adhesive child safety cleat
Before You Begin
Wipe the top inside surface of your window recess. That’s where the blind grips, so make sure it’s clean, dry, and free from dust or grease for best results.
Step-by-Step Fitting Guide
1. Angle it in
Start with the EasyTwist locking side (the end opposite the chain). Raise this end slightly higher and insert it into the top of the recess at a slight angle. The spring-loaded mechanism will compress as you push it into place.
Before inserting, make sure the EasyTwist locking wheel is turned so it’s positioned closer to the wall — this loosens the spring and makes installation easier.
2. Push and pivot
With the EasyTwist locking end pressed against the recess wall, raise the chain control end upwards into place. The blind should now sit at the top of the recess. Take a moment to ensure it’s level both across the top and in line with the window — this sets you up for a secure, neat finish.
3. Twist to lock
Once everything is level and in position, turn the EasyTwist dial towards the blind (away from the wall) to expand the bracket and lock the blind in place. This action pushes the bracket firmly against the recess, creating a secure brace to hold the blind steady.
No tools, no screws — just an EasyTwist for a secure fit.
4. Test the hold
Give the blind a gentle pull. It should feel secure and steady. If not, untwist, adjust the position, and try again — sometimes a few millimetres makes all the difference.
Child Safety — Still No Drills
Every chain-operated EasyTwist blind includes a self-adhesive safety cleat to keep your control chain tidy and safe — no screws needed.
To fit:
- Clean the surface (wall or window frame) where the cleat will go
- Peel off the adhesive backing
- Stick the cleat firmly in place, ideally 150cm from the floor
- Wrap the chain around the cleat to keep it safely tensioned
Job done. No tools, no hassle — just a safer home in seconds.
