Wide Blinds

Our Premium XL and XL Mains roller blinds can go up to 4.7m and our standard roller blinds can be made up to 3.4 metres wide with a drop of 4.2 metres. Wide blinds are roller or vertical blinds that can be made outside the standard blind size limits to wider widths. This is particularly useful for those with large windows and they wish to shade their windows with a single blind. Although many online retailers claim to cater for extra wide blinds, we are among the very few that offer very wide roller and electric blinds.

Wide Roller Blinds

Our choice of extra wide roller blinds reaches beyond three metres in width. This allows you to measure your wide window for blinds without any further effort. Wide roller blinds come in a huge choice of colours and fabric. Our standard roller blinds can go from 200mm to 3450mm (3.4metres) wide and with a drop of up to 4250mm (4.2 metres). The maximum width our Premium XL blinds can reach is a width of 4700mm (4.7m) with a drop of 1850mm (1.85m). Naturally, as the width of the blind is reduced we’re able to increase the drop, so we can manufacture this blind to a drop of 5750mm (5.7m) if the width is 1700mm (1.7m) or less.

DotcomBlinds roller blinds are made with metal barrels as standard, we automatically upgrade the barrel to a larger diameter to accommodate the added weight from the large square meterage of fabric. A lot of retailers will ignore this step and you will have a weak barrel that bows in the middle. To us, having the ability to select the right size barrel is an indicator of quality and care that we take and lets you be rest assured that we have considered every aspect of our wide window blind’s construction.
