Looking at Sophie Allport
Here at DotcomBlinds, we’ve recently updated & expanded the range of Designer Blinds available in our store, you may have heard us shouting about it in our blogs and social media posts over the past few days. Not only have we added Roman Blind options to our existing Designer collections, but we’ve also added 3 new British Designers to our collection!
Today, we’ll have a look at one of the new designers now in our Designer collection, fantastic British designer Sophie Allport! We are overjoyed to finally have made to measure blinds with Sophie Allport’s wonderful designs in our store – So, to celebrate, we thought we’d shine a light on Sophie Allport and her eponymous Sophie Allport brand.
The Story of Sophie Allport
In 2007 British Designer Sophie Allport founded her eponymous lifestyle brand Sophie Allport, since then the Sophie Allport brand has grown to be one of the most iconic modern British design brands, making legendary designs for British Institutions like the National Trust, Wimbledon and the BBC for Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
Nowadays Sophie Allport herself and the Sophie Allport brand are still making designs which are beloved in the UK, while also running Sophie Allport stores across the country.
Sophie Allport and DotcomBlinds
In early 2024, DotcomBlinds expanded our ranges of designer window blinds, adding in blinds from even more of the UK’s best and well know designers, of course including a range of blinds featuring designs from the legendary Sophie Allport.
