Make Sure You Get Your Fabric Samples On Time!

Royal Mail Strikes & FREE Sample Delivery

If you’ve ordered samples from us in the past, you’ll know that we send out free fabric samples out via Royal Mail on their 1^st class service.

While the Royal Mail 1^st class service is usually incredibly reliable, the Communications Workers Union (CWU) has called on its various members within the Royal Mail to take part in strike action on the following dates.

September: 30^th

October: 1^st, 13^th, 20^th & 25^th

November: 3^rd, 4^th, 9^th, 10^th, 14^th, 15^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 24^th, 25^th, 29^th & 30^th

December: 1^st & 2^nd

As such our sample delivery service may not be as quick or reliable as usual when selecting the Royal Mail 1^st class delivery option.

However, if you need your free samples urgently, we are proud to offer a Registered Delivery option for £3.50 – Royal Mail have committed to ensuring that registered deliveries will go ahead with minimal disruption, so the Registered Delivery option is the best way to ensure you receive your samples in a timely manner.

You will still be able to place orders for free fabric samples with our standard free Royal Mail 1^st class delivery, but please be aware that disruptions outside our control may cause your samples to take a while to arrive with you during periods where Royal Mail staff are taking part in strike action.

For delivery of our Blinds, Curtains, and Cubicle Tracking, we use couriers not affiliated with Royal Mail, so there should be no disruption for any paid orders of our made to measure products.
