The MotionBlinds Single Channel Remote is a 5-channel handheld remote control that can be programmed to control five blinds, allowing to you raise, lower and stop the blinds at any point down the window. A wall-mounted holder is included with the remote as standard. This remote is only compatible with our MotionBlinds and Eve MotionBlinds Smart motors and not our regular battery or mains-operated electric blinds.

You overcame the measurement minefield and now you must face the final challenge – installing your roller blind. Honestly, it isn’t half as bad as you think it is, and with this very easy guide, you’ll be done in no time. Grab a cuppa and have a quick read through our instructions to familiarise yourself before you get started. The tools you’ll need are: drill with 5mm drill bit, tape measure, suitable fixing plugs, screws and a screwdriver.

1 | Buttons

The center button has two functions: press to stop the blind and hold to move the blind to its favourite position.

2 | Changing the battery

When the indicator is flashing at a high frequency, the battery needs to be replaced with a CR2430 3.0v button battery.

3 | Remote Holder

Different materials require different types of fittings. Always choose screws and plugs that are specially suited to the material.

4 | Pairing a Remote

4.1 Shortly press the program button on the motor. The blind will start stepping, indicating that program mode has been activated. (The blind keeps stepping until the program mode is deactivated)
4.2 Select a desired channel for the blind using the channel selection button on the remote control.
4.3 Press the pair button on the back of the remote control to pair the blind with the selected channel. The blind will shortly stop stepping, indicating that the remote has been paired with the blind.
Note : Repeat steps 4.1 - 4.3 to remove a blind from a channel.

5 | Single select 5 channel remote

5.1 To activate Single select, simultaneously hold the centre button and press the pair button.

5.2 The remote starts searching for blinds (search mode). This is indicated by the LEDs flashing from left to right.

5.3 Once a blind is found, the channel LED will flash and the blind starts stepping, indicating that program mode has been activated. The blind can now be (un)paired with the remote and/or programmed.

5.4 To search for the next blind, press the right button. Search mode will be activated. To find the previous blind, press the left button.

5.5 To exit Single select, press the right button during search mode.

6 | Channel Select 5 Channel Remote

6.1 Select the channel from which the blinds must be copied.

6.2 To activate channel select, simultaneously hold the channel selection button and press the pair button.

6.3 All blinds in the selected channel will start stepping, indicating program mode has been activated. All blinds can be copied to a new channel on the same remote or other remote. Select a new channel on the (new) remote.

6.4 Press the pair button on the (new) remote to pair the blinds with the new channel.

6.5 To exit channel select, go back to the channel selected at step 6.1 and repeat step 6.2
