Premium XL Geared down clutch 1:4 Mechanism Replacement Only

Replacement chain mechanism suited for our range of Premium XL chain operated blinds. This only includes the mechanism and doesn't include chain, pin end or brackets. This mechanism is only compatible with any size Premium XL chain operated roller blind. It is not compatible with any of our standard roller blinds. This mechanismis a 1:4 geared mechainism that provides smooth operation and strong hold for our XL Premium roller blinds.

This roller blind comes with the option to have a headbox and this can be selected once you’ve entered the measurements into the product page. The images on our product pages show the blind with the headbox.

Non-Headbox

A non-headbox roller blind means you can see the fabric wrapped around the barrel, with a gap between the barrel and the top of the recess/ceiling. This version of the roller blind can be face or top fixed with the brackets at each end of the barrel.

Headbox

The headbox fully encloses the barrel and the mechanism. The headbox itself is white aluminium and the front of the headbox is covered in the same fabric as the blind.

As well as protecting the fabric on the barrel, the headbox can help to give a better ‘seal’ at the top of the recess, which will help to block sunlight from coming through at the top of the blind, thus improving the roller blinds’ blackout credentials.

Our Premium XL Roller Blinds can be made to a maximum width of 4700mm (4.7m) and a maximum drop of 5750mm (5.75m)
