The moment you’ve been waiting for is here! Your blind arrives on your doorstep in a blaze of glory, carried atop a velvet cushion by the courier. Savour this moment: your first encounter with a DotcomBlinds blind.

Open the box(es) and gaze upon your goodies. If you bought a roller blind or venetian blind the whole blind will be in a single box; if you have a vertical blind, the louvres will be rolled up in a separate box.

Lay out everything you find in the box. Blind, fittings and instructions.

Your instructions will guide you through the installation process, navigating you through the turbulent waters of DIY-dom like a lighthouse in a storm. Follow these instructions if you need them, just make sure you remember how you measured your window – recess or exact.

Recess means we have made the deductions to ensure it fits in your window, exact measurements means we made your blind to the exact measurements you provided. Remember this as it dictates where you can install your blind (exact fit blinds most likely won’t fit within a recess).

You will find the fittings in the box. These are integral to the installation of your blind, do keep them handy!
