A look at our best nautical inspired blinds

At DotcomBlinds, we have 100’s of different patterned fabrics available for use on our blinds and curtains, with designs ranging from Art Deco inspired patterns, Paisley designs and of course the ever popular Coastal & Nautical inspired blinds.

Nautical & Coastal décor has been around for as long as humans have been decorating their homes, as we took inspiration from the nature around water, then as sailing became popular, elements of boat-style décor ended up appearing in nautical themed homes. The modern version of nautical décor became popular over in the USA during the 1980s, catching on as a go to style for the preppy  ‘new money’ families in the Hamptons, one of America’s most well-to-do areas where the rich and famous often have holiday homes.

Nowadays though Nautical and Coastal décor is very accessible and is having a resurgence in popularity, as homeowners look to create more luxurious interiors that make every day at home feel like a holiday.

Now that we’ve caught you up in the world of Nautical & Coastal décor, shall we have a look at some of the best ocean inspired shades we have here at DotcomBlinds!
